Today's men and women may not have as many opportunities to wear formal footwear as in the past - casual Fridays and working from home, in your flip flops, has taken care of that. Yet there are times when formal shoes are necessary, and spring has more than its share of weddings, business meetings, graduations and even special occasions for the younger set, like proms. If we look around will see that shoes style changes fast from season to season and the regular winter warm boots must get back on the dark corner shoe rack to let the regular style shoes to see the light, the sun, to fight the dust, sweat and hot asphalt. Now its the time to service the loyal boots and store it in proper conditions before the humid hot weather will get to them ( yes, at one point the humid hot air will reach them). The story on this task could get really long but the idea is simple and is depending first of all on footwear condition and material made. Definitely, apply the right shoe care products for the right footwear and you could find a large variety of quality products that will perfectly preserve it no matter of maker or style. As I stated before lets keep it short and simple: clean it, dry it ( naturally) , apply protector, shine it, add odor remover, maintain shape. I believe all those key steps should be followed rigorously and the results will be trilled. You are not only going to remove all the unwanted white spots from winter salt or just from sweat but, hygienically you'll protect yourself for lots unwanted foot fungus and disease that could potentially damage your foot skin or your toenails for long periods of time with painful moments. Also, one of the most important aspects is that you are going to push the life of the footwear to new limits, where the results can be identified over the years - you'll find that not only you saved you investments but you still have the "most favorite" pair of shoes. The story can go on and on but the idea is here - rather than tossing good loyal footwear into the trash or to a bag for the thrift store, proudly wear your well-cared-for shoes season to season.
