Saphir's Brushes Collection - Part 2

Saphir Cleaning And Polishing Brushes

Absolutely essential to the well equipped shoe shine kit, the Saphir Medaille D'or Polishing Brush is crafted of an exotic waxed hardwood base and boar bristles. A high-end shoe shine brush, use after polishing or conditioning leather to bring out a shine to your desired level, soft to glossy.

The Saphir Shoe Brush Oval is made of beechwood and horsehair, a classic shoe care tool, perfect for removing loose soil and removing excess polishes, waxes and other products. These are the workhorses of your leather care tool kit. It is wisest to have at least one for dark polishes and one for brown or neutrals.

Saphir Specialized Tools

In addition to brushes, Saphir also offers some specialized cleaning and polishing items that make shoe care easier and more effective:

The Saphir Polishing Chamois Cotton Cloth has dozens of uses including cleaning leather, applying polish and giving shoes and other leathers a quick shine. Easy to take along when traveling, the Saphir Polishing Glove rolls up when not in use and has a soft sheepskin pad to work in conditioners and polishes, fitting over the hand during use -- very helpful when treating large items like furniture and car interiors. The Saphir Natural Leather Shining Pad has a strap to keep it secure on your hand as you polish shoes, boots and other leathers with a pure wool pad.

When dealing with staining on nubuck and suede try the power of Saphir Gommadin - Medaille D'Or or Saphir Gommadin Nubuck and Suede Cleaner. Both of these products work like leather stain erasers, absorbing dirt and grease, Rub gently and as the gommadin crumble the unwanted soils are lifted off. Use a Saphir crepe brush to complete the cleaning and reestablish the texture..
